Degree Requirements

Requirements: 19-20 credits, 12 credits upper division (4 or more courses must be taken in residence).

  • CRIM 101: Introduction to Criminal Justice

  • CRIM 335: Criminology

  • CRIM electives-  12 credits (8 credits of which must be upper division electives 300 or 400 level )

Elective options

  • Any upper division CRIM electives 300 and 400 level (excluding CRIM 335 Criminology)

  • Or CRIM 276 Criminal Law and Procedure

Optional

CRIM 492: Internship 1-4 credits with pre-approval only.  With pre- approval students may complete a Criminology and Criminal Justice internship at a criminal justice agency or related area in their junior or senior year.
