• Data 215: Introduction to Data Science and Visualization 

• Math 131 or Math 231: Essential Statistics or Statistics for the Sciences  

• Data 350 or Data 440 : Technology, Ethics, and Applications or Machine Learning

• 8 additional credits from the electives list for the B.S. in Data Science. 4 of these credits must be at the upper division level.
