Degree Requirements

36 Credits Minimum (20 credits upper division); 8-10 Supporting Courses = 44-46 Total Credits

Required Courses:

  • EES 111/111L: Physical Geology and Physical Geology Lab

  • EES 151/151L: Physical Geography and Physical Geography Lab

  • EES 305: Climate Change

  • EES 485: Environmental Science Capstone

  • MATH 231: Statistics for the Sciences

Major electives:

  • At least 5 additional EES Courses (18 credits minimum)

    • Four courses must be upper division

    • Two courses must be 4 credits or more

Required Supporting Courses:

Complete a two-semester sequence in Chemistry, Physics, or Math:

  • CHEM 151/151L: General Chemistry and General Chemistry Lab

  • CHEM 152/152L: General Chemistry II and General Chemistry II Lab

Or:

  • PHYS 201/201L: General Physics I and General Physics I Lab

  • PHYS 202/202L: General Physics II and General Physics II Lab

Or:

  • MATH 251/252: Calculus I-II
