HEBR 315. Biblical Hebrew I. (4).
A two-semester sequence of study leading to a
reading knowledge of the Hebrew Bible/Old
Testament. Basic Hebrew grammar and vocabulary
are studied in conjunction with questions of
cosmology, the understanding of history and the
theological perspective of ancient Israel.
Prerequisite: REL 100. (cross-listed with
REL 315 & REL 316).
